Maxwell Kwadwo Bosea, BSc.

Personal Profile

Mr. Maxwell Kwadwo Bosea is a highly motivated and enthusiastic MSc Photonics student at Abbe School of Photonics, Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany, with a keen interest in Optical Design. He has gained valuable knowledge and exposure to various countries and continents through his academic pursuits. Mr. Bosea's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering from Kazan National Research Technical University (KNRTU-KAI), Russia, and a West African Senior High School Certificate in General Science from St. James Seminary and Senior High School, Sunyani, Ghana.

During his Bachelor's program in Russia, Mr. Bosea gained valuable experience in various
aspects of Optical Engineering such as Fundamentals of Optical Engineering, Materials
Science, Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, and Optical Engineering Applications. He
also completed an internship at Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant (KOMZ), Kazan, Russia,
where he conducted Optical Conducted a comprehensive study on optical instrument
manufacturing, principles, and practical applications.

Mr. Bosea also worked as a Science Teacher at Eskom Educational Centre Primary/JHS
Berekum, Ghana, and Support Engineer at Bomax Solutions and Services, Berekum, Ghana
where he was responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems.. He is also skilled in Python, MATLAB, Photonics Simulation, and Designing.
Mr. Bosea's research experience includes his Master's Degree in Communication and Signal Processing Research, where he developed an algorithm for finding characteristic points of the QRS complex of the Electrocardiosignal using Matched Filtering. He also completed a Bachelor's Degree Project on the Modernization of the MP 12x45 Monocular.

In addition to his technical skills, Maxwell is a proactive individual with excellent communication skills. He is a team player who is always willing to collaborate with others to achieve common goals. He has also demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, as evidenced by his ability to lead the National Union of Ghanaian Students in Kazan, Russia.

​

Outside of academics, Maxwell is interested in photography and enjoys capturing moments with his camera. He also enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures.
Maxwell's ultimate goal is to become an expert in Optical Design and use his knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology for the betterment of humanity.
